Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your Ortick dashboard, in Settings → Your plan. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current paid billing period.
Your Broker or Business features remain active until that period ends. After it ends, your account automatically moves to the Free plan.
Reactivating before the period ends
If you cancel and change your mind, you can reactivate from the same Settings screen before the period ends. Reactivating removes the scheduled cancellation and your plan continues as normal.
Refunds are not automatic
Cancelling does not automatically issue a refund, and Ortick does not provide automatic or prorated refunds for the unused part of a billing period.
Refund requests are reviewed manually on a case-by-case basis.
When a refund may be considered
We may review and grant a refund in exceptional cases, for example: a duplicate charge, an accidental same-day payment, an unauthorized or fraudulent charge, a serious technical failure on Ortick's side that prevented use, a clear billing mistake, an approved goodwill case, or where a refund is required by applicable law.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have that cannot be waived under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where such laws require a refund or other remedy, those laws prevail over this policy.
How to request a refund
If you believe there was a billing mistake or your situation falls under the cases above, contact support with your account email and details of the charge. We will review and respond.
Relationship to the Terms
This policy forms part of, and should be read together with, the Ortick Terms & Conditions. The Terms describe subscription plans and billing; this policy describes cancellation and refund handling in more detail.
